Growing Moment

It Was Me

It was I who trapped me

into someone else’s dream,

I believed all  he said could be,

when I kept seeing a clear reality.

I followed him into that sleep,

wanting all that he said we could keep.

What a journey that turned out to be

It was I, who trapped me.

  1. I trapped me, too. It’s what we’re taught as women, I think.
