Herded like cattle, pushed and shoved
human hearts, yet unloved
Stripped and showered, no more pain
How could it be so insane?

This reminds me of the story: The Boy In the Striped Pyjamas. Metaphorically, it speaks to relationships that bloom despite differences and warnings to contrary.
